Medes College is a thriving teaching institution focused on quality Cosmetology education and services for its students and clients. Our institution offers the following programs; Medical Esthetics, Esthetics and Nail Technology.
We are currently seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and committed instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate is committed to quality of education and is passionate about the beauty industry.
Qualifications:

• Certified CANB Esthetic or Nail Tech Instructor with or Certified CANB Esthetician or Nail Tech employed a minimum of 5 years in the industry with the desire to become a certified instructor.
• Works well independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrated skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff, faculty and the public
• Good Communicator both verbal and written
• Highly organized
• Self motivated with the ability to motivate others
• Passionate about the profession and raising the bar in our industry
• Ability to work effectively within an ethnic, cultural and socially diverse student population
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
• Previous teaching experience considered an asset
• Job Type: Full time, permanent (approximately 25-40 hours per week)

Responsible for assisting in the coordination of the college programs.
Oversee and guide students during practical and client services
Deliver theory curriculum and plan fun learning activities with students
Provide guidance and coaching when required
Organize and conduct classroom activities in a well-organized manner reflecting the professional image of the College.
Continually reinforce professional appearance for Students on dress and behavior standards – lead by example
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
