Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician
Job description
VIDA Dermatology is Edmonton's state-of-the-art Dermatology clinic in south Edmonton. We are a comprehensive dermatology clinic and provide solutions for medical, surgical and cosmetic treatments to all patients and age groups.
We are looking for an aesthetician to perform the following but not limited to:
skincare consultations, treatment consultations, chemical peels and medical facials, dermaplaning, microneedling, laser skin treatments including laser hair removal, photofacials, IPL, body contouring technologies, (photodynamic therapy) and more. Training may be provided where necessary.
· Be familiar with medical grade skin care including ZO, Skin Ceuticals, Alumier products
Additional pay:
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with clients in a warm, kind and professional manner.
- Be passionate about what they do.
- Determine client treatment plans by assessing skin concerns, skin type and client goals and budget and having a comprehensive understanding of treatment options available within our practice.
- Show a high level of professionalism.
- Work well with others
- Attend work on time
- Be able to work independent in a fast-paced client-centered environment.
- Perform front desk administrative tasks including answering phones, scheduling etc.
- A high level of care in personal presentation.
- A willingness to participate in continued learning opportunities such as in clinic training, external seminars, and independent studying.
- Loyalty and a desire to grow within the position and our company.
- Medical Aesthetician Diploma
- Must have a minimum of 3 plus years of related experience
- Superior understanding of skin, skincare, and up to date laser technologies.
- Certification in the following treatments: dermaplaning, microneedling, and laser.
