We are currently seeking a seasonal Equipment Operator thru October/November to work at our Yarmouth location.
The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the tractors and equipment used in the seaweed drying process. Duties include spreading, drying, tedding, raking, chopping, sweeping, weighing, foreign debris removal, and storing all harvested material. The ideal candidate will have:

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the tractors and equipment used in the seaweed drying process. - Knowledge in the operation and proper daily maintenance of farm-type equipment
- Experience in operating mobile equipment
- Must be able to operate tractors safely
- Familiarity with requirements under NS Workplace Health and Safety Act
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere with great attitude
- Good organization skills and be innovative
