Det’on Cho Management LP Scholarship 2024/2025
Det’on Cho Management LP is devoted to building the next generation of Yellowknives Dene leaders. One way to do that is to encourage higher education for members of our community. We are pleased to announce the Det’on Cho Management LP’s scholarships for 2024/2025. There will be a maximum of 5 scholarships available at a value of $1000 each. These scholarships will go to Northern Indigenous members who are pursuing post-secondary education.

These scholarships will go to Northern Indigenous members who are pursuing post-secondary education.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- NWT Resident.
- Awarded to Northern Indigenous students who are Impact Beneficiary Agreement Holders. Priority will be given to Yellowknives Dene First Nations Members.
- Enrolled in a fully accredited post-secondary in a Business Program or in General Studies.
- Be considered a full-time student.
YOUR APPLICATION PACKAGE MUST INCLUDE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
- A cover letter introducing yourself; can include hobbies, biography etc. (min 500-word)
- Fully completed application form (attached)
- Two professional letters of reference (past Educator or Employers)
- Proof of Beneficiary (copy of Indian status card or letter)
- Proof of Residency (copy of NT Health Care Card)
- Acceptance letter from post-secondary institution (if first year student)
- OR proof of registration for the coming year (2nd year students or higher)
- Copy of Official transcripts
