Description: The Denture Technician is responsible for helping to improve teeth and for replacing lost teeth. You will improve tech for aesthetic reasons, and work to the prescription of a dentist to dentures. If this is something you have experience with, then we want to hear from you!
General Responsibilities:
Replaces partial or total loss of natural teeth by constructing partial or full dentures (metal and non-metal)
Completes implantology procedures by fabricating prostheses to fit implants the dentist places directly into the patient's jawbone
Fabricating full and partial dentures, including, but not limited to, setting teeth, waxing, bending wire, finishing and processing
Relines, repairs, occlusal rims and custom trays
Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
Must be willing to cross-train in all areas of the lab
Ensure final restoration and appliances meet the company quality control standards.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in dental technology in manufacturing removable dentures; CAD design experience a plus, but not required.
Must possess proficient English skills, both written and verbal
Must possess effective oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel in a professional and effective manner
Comfortable working in a team environment to complete cases
Same-day denture experience is a bonus, but not required
