Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Center Director to lead our daycare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of programs that support children’s growth through engaging activities and play.
Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to daycare staff, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
• Develop and oversee age-appropriate educational programs that promote learning and social skills.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children during playtime, meals, and nap times while maintaining a structured routine.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, addressing any concerns as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Foster a positive team atmosphere through collaboration and open communication with staff members.
• Observe and assess children's development, documenting milestones and progress to inform program enhancements.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
• Experience in managing a daycare or educational setting, with a focus on caregiving and child development.
• Ability to create and promote educational initiatives through creative play and structured activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with parents, staff, and the community.
• Patience, empathy, and strong leadership skills to manage a dynamic environment and support staff development.
• Strong organizational skills to oversee daily operations and ensure children’s needs are met.

Education
Level 2 or higher Early Childhood Education

Pay: $22.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
