Construction Logistics
- Develop and implement logistics plans for construction projects.
- Coordinate the delivery and distribution of materials and equipment.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of resources.
- Work closely with project managers to align logistics with project timelines.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve any logistical issues that arise during the project.
- Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities.
- Coordinate with site managers to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
- Oversee the transportation and storage of hazardous materials.
- Implement best practices in logistics management.
