Key Responsibilities:

• On-site management support
• Assist in various construction tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, equipment, and tools to and from the worksite.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials, equipment, and tools to and from the worksite.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and waste materials
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure proper use of safety gear and equipment.
• Identify and report potential hazards or safety issues on the job site to supervisors immediately.
• Consistently delivering high-quality workmanship that meets or exceeds industry standards and project specifications.

Skills:

• Knowledge and experience in techniques and tools in residential development and construction
• Concrete forming experience an asset
• Framing experience an asset
• Reading and understanding of blueprints an asset
• Machine operation experience an asset
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• Occasional travel throughout the Maritimes
• Ability to work weekends and evenings when required
• Dependability and punctuality to ensure tasks are completed on time and projects stay on schedule.
• Basic problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges on the job site.
• Open to learning new skills and techniques related to construction and development.

Qualifications:

• 2 - 3 years of general construction experience
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Bilingual in French and English an asset but not a requirement
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Experience:

• Residential construction: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
