Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of cleaning equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility users in a professional manner.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively when required for cleaning or maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while performing cleaning duties.
- Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as part of the job requirements.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools safely in a cleaning context.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
