Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various settings, including guest rooms, offices and public areas.This position requires a commitment to integrity, reliability, strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff. We are looking for a person who is non-judgemental and understands the needs of our clients, some who have mental wellness and substance misuse challenges.
The ideal candidate MUST have experience and references as a CLEANER and must be in good health and physical condition able to lift 50 Lbs unassisted and able to manager stairs while carrying cleaning supplies, equipment, waste materials, bedding etc. Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Assist clients develop good housekeeping and healthy living skills.
Skills
Experience in hotel or hospitality cleaning preferred but not required.
Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require additional cleaning.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Proven track record of showing on time.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of custodial equipment and cleaning agents is beneficial.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.

Previous hotel or hospitality industry experience
