Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring Propane Drivers on a temporary, 6-month basis in Winnipeg, MB offering $25.42 - $32.65 an hour, depending on experience. Are you looking for employment through the winter? Our propane team is hiring a Class 3A drivers on a 6-month basis starting in October to help them through busy season. We offer all the required training and work gear, the possibility of extension, and a work area that will have you home every night. What you’ll do:
Present a positive image in customer service while making propane deliveries locally.
Conduct daily pre-and post-trip inspections, track hours, and report issues using an electronic log system.
Maintain company vehicles, ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out and minor repairs are conducted.
Perform work with a high standard of safety in all operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations.
Who you’ll work with: The Team: You will work on a team of drivers and service technicians and will report to the Supervisor, Propane Distribution on a team that strives to cultivate a culture of customer service, safety, and work life balance. The Customers: You will deliver propane to customers in agricultural, commercial, and domestic markets while displaying a high-level of customer-focus, professionalism, and care. Who you are: You are looking for a career in hauling and deliveries and:
Have 1+ years of professional driving experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
Have a Class 3A or Class 1A license and a grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
Are familiar with computers and/or electronic log systems.
Are comfortable with physically demanding work such as pulling heavy hoses and other equipment with a minimum weight of 50lbs.
