Location: 1077 St. George Blvd, Moncton NB
Hybrid work: 3 days at the office and 2 days remotely

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Fuel Director, the Petroleum Coordinator will oversee and manage daily retail pricing for designated markets. This role is responsible for achieving departmental goals by creating and executing fuel pricing strategies aimed at meeting volume and profit targets.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Ensure optimal implementation of pricing strategies.
• Verify correct application of prices.
• Monitor competitive activity and respond swiftly.
• Understand competitive issues and comply with competition laws.
• Support operations and address any pricing execution problems.
• Oversee Price Center technicians.
• Assist with gasoline-related operational issues.
• Act as a resource for applying oil partner standards and procedures.
• Regularly analyze site performance and suggest corrective actions to the Director of Petroleum Operations.
• Provide margin and liter estimates for construction departments during petroleum projects.
• Visit sites to identify opportunities for improving pricing strategies and understanding regional market conditions.
• Train operations teams on fuel price management systems.
• Engage with operations staff to understand their needs and facilitate improvements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Qualifications:

• DEC or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field

Knowledge and skills:

• Knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Aptitude for customer service
• Ease of communicating
• Analytical mind
• Sense of organization and rigor
• Ability to manage priorities
• Basic knowledge of transportation fuel characteristics (Asset)
• Knowledge of the oil field (Asset)
• Using Power Bi (Asset)

Language skills

• Bilingualism required (French and English), both written and spoken.
