Buyer/Data Processing Administrator

CIMS Limited Partnership, is seeking a supportive individual that can collaborate and communicate effectively to fill the role of Buyer/ Data Processing Administrator at our Head Office Warehouse in Port Coquitlam, BC.
In the role of Buyer/ Data Processing Administrator at CIMS LP, you will be a key contributor towards CIMS's success by focusing on materials procurement to support our warehouse operations. You will be responsible with the entry and processing of information/ documents into our various systems ensuring consistent application of all processing compliance with respect to the management of information in Warehousing, Purchasing and Accounts Payable.
You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and be accountable for:
  • Purchasing & Vendor Management: Assist with vendor records, order placement, competitive bidding, and addressing discrepancies.
  • Proactive & Replenishment Ordering : Issue purchase orders for shortages and warehouse replenishment based on evaluations and forecasts.
  • Category & Inventory Management: Evaluate affiliates, manage preferred suppliers, oversee cost savings, and maintain inventory needs.
  • Accounts Payable & Administrative Support: Scan and load vendor invoices into Sage AP, support shipments processing in Sage CRE 300, and provide administrative support to Finance.
  • Operational & Cost Analysis: Support material/equipment purchasing for operations, develop sourcing guides, follow up on materials, and conduct cost/benefit analysis.
You are the ideal candidate for this role if you:
  • Well-organized self-starter who has excellent administrative abilities to support business objectives in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy of work.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in supply chain, or a combination of both related education and experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
Working conditions you can expect while performing your role include working in an warehouse environment, working to deadlines, high stress situations (i.e. collections, investigations, etc.). May be required to work outside of normal work hours on occasion to meet deadlines.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
