This is primarily a Monday through Friday position, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., but it may include some commitments outside of these hours in the event of an emergency.
What your day will look like:
· The Carter House is looking for a full-time facility maintenance person to provide and/or oversee the safe and efficient operation of our building and property.
Your job duties may include but are not limited to:

· Managing the HVAC and boiler systems. A Fireman Boiler Operator ticket is a requirement of this position.
· Managing the condition of the facility. This entails minor repairs, electrical and basic plumbing repairs, painting, patching, changing lights and general maintenance and care.
· Managing the condition of the grounds. This includes snow removal, lawn and yard maintenance and tree care.
· Organizing tools, equipment and storage areas organized and clean.
· Managing and overseeing outdoor building maintenance.
Job requirements:
· Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search apon employment
· A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
· Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, drywalling, and painting.
· Knowledge of power tools.
· Able to work safely and follow safety guidelines and protocols.
· Positive and professional attitude.
· The ability to work within a team structure.
Compensation:
Salary: We offer a competitive salary ranging from $21 to $24 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
