Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Your mechanical knowledge and exceptional customer service skills will be essential in providing accurate information, recommending services, and ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival at the service department.
• Assess customer needs by listening actively and asking relevant questions regarding vehicle issues or service requests.
• Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, utilizing your mechanical knowledge to ensure clarity.
• Recommend additional services and products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
• Prepare accurate estimates for services, ensuring transparency in pricing and necessary repairs.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining communication with customers throughout the process.
• Handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area, contributing to a professional environment for both customers and staff.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within an automotive dealership or repair setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance is highly desirable.
• Red Seal Automotive Technician considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in an understandable manner.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring all customer interactions are documented accurately.

Pay: $16.35-$40.00 per hour
