Introduction
GMA (Global Market Analysis) is the expertise center responsible for fundamental analysis and economic research in GEMS (Global Energy Management & Sales). The team consists of market analysts, meteorologists, and data scientists utilizing various decision-making and data-intensive applications. They play a pivotal role in supporting trading activities.
The Global Energy Management BU (GEM) brings together all activities for management and trading of the Group’s assets. Specialised in risk management and energy markets, the BU has 1300 employees present in 16 countries. The BU provides its expertise to all group BUs and develops sales activities and new products for external Customers.4GEM is responsible for managing the Group’s European asset portfolio.
Our teams:

• Optimise the supply of natural gas, production assets and energy contracts for the group
• Negotiate ENGIE long-term natural gas supply contracts
• Supply internal Customers and those outside of the Group with risk management services related to natural gas, electricity, and the price of energy GEM manages one of the biggest and most diversified energy portfolios in Europe. The BU is notably active on global energy markets thanks to the Group’s trading platform, Energy Global Markets (EGM)

Context
To increase its competitiveness and pursue its development in the best conditions, GEM IS significantly investing in its information system. The Downstream DC supports the industrialization of the costing processes for customers and the management of the exposures related to confirmed sales positions for both gas and power. Highly performing forecasting is part of the key processes in this respect.
The service shall be carried out within the Downstream DC responsible for delivery and maintenance of the tools geared towards the LSS departments of Brussels, but extendable to all European countries. It consists in reinforcing the Downstream DC team. The objective of the mission is to industrialize and secure business processes by designing and delivering IT solutions (Web API oriented) within the context of Downstream IT applications landscape.

Activities
The main activities are:

• Write functional specifications (PBI, uses cases, process design)
• Write Test cases
• Perform integration test
• Be the link between Business and Dev team
• Assist the business during Acceptance testing
• Ensure deliveries and respect deadlines
• Production Monitoring / Maintenance

• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, assimilate feedback and assess impact on your perimeter.

• Capacity to atomize and abstract topics to make them more generic
• Entrepreneurial spirit and creative approach to problem solving especially in Digital initiatives
