Role Overview We are looking for a Corporate Lead Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, multi-stakeholder regenerative agriculture projects with a selection of our high value customers. You will support the Soil Capital customers in building and executing on ambitious regenerative supply chain projects. This role requires a candidate who can navigate and influence at the highest levels of authority while maintaining smooth, effective collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders along the Food and Agriculture value chain and various geographies.
Experience in managing client relationships at the executive level and a proven track record in managing projects from inception to delivery are critical. Knowledge of or experience in the Food & Ag supply chain will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multi-stakeholder regen ag roadmap, ensuring that all goals are met on time, within scope, and budget.
Develop and implement clear project roadmaps that align with both short-term and long-term business objectives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, managing internal and external resources to ensure successful project completion.
Oversee and support the junior Soil Capital team members who act as the first point of contact with clients.
Stakeholder Management
Engage and influence multiple stakeholders, including partners, clients, and suppliers, while managing expectations and ensuring smooth communication.
Collaborate with clients at various levels of seniority, including executive teams, ensuring a clear understanding of their objectives and aligning the project outcomes to meet these goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as the senior point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Authority & Influence
Exert smooth, authoritative influence, ensuring that teams are motivated, aligned, and capable of delivering high-quality work within the required timeframes.
Navigate challenges effectively, using diplomacy and strong decision-making skills to drive consensus and resolve conflicts when needed.
Client Engagement
Ensure a best-in-class level of service with clients and rapport based on deep trust and reliability.
Engage and consult with clients at senior levels (C-suite or board level), ensuring their vision and priorities are clearly understood and integrated into project delivery.
Proactively anticipate and address the client needs; respond promptly to requests and act swiftly and decisively when necessary.
Provide regular updates and presentations on project progress, risks, and outcomes to key client stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
Identify areas for process improvement within the project management function and implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Keep abreast of emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities within the food and agricultural supply chain sector.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in delivering multi-stakeholder projects, ideally within the agriculture or food supply chain sector.
Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities while maintaining high standards.
Demonstrated experience working with and influencing senior executives, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong ability to exert smooth authority, inspiring and leading teams while maintaining a collaborative work environment.
Experience in or a solid understanding of the food and agriculture supply chain is a significant advantage.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage risks, and drive projects to completion.
Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in project management, particularly in multi-stakeholder environments.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are a plus.
