Position Title: Automation Application Specialist
Main Purpose of Role As an Automation Application Specialist with extensive expertise in transfusion medicine, you will manage highly complex and specialized projects. You will innovate by adapting precedents and developing new solutions, and you will be responsible for addressing technical inquiries.
Main Responsibilities
Customer Communication: Engage with customers and clients via email, phone, or online platforms to resolve complex inquiries and technical questions, recommending suitable products or services (e.g., IT hardware/software, financial services, health services).
Problem Solving: Utilize established procedures or create new solutions to address technical problems, managing cases and following up on outstanding issues.
Professional Proficiency: Apply your comprehensive knowledge of professional, technical, and administrative disciplines to your work.
Knowledge Sharing: Leverage several years of experience or coaching from senior specialists to instruct technical staff and review the quality of their work or advice.
Project Implementation: Own automation projects across the region, collaborating with hardware and IT team members.
Onsite Support: Provide onsite support during the go-live phase.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation systems within the healthcare or medical devices industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting automation systems and connected instruments.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
