We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to manage our procurement and inventory department . The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing while managing relationships with vendors. Key Responsibilities: Purchasing:
Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services for purchase
Negotiate contract terms and pricing with vendors
Maintain professional relationships with suppliers, including product research and sourcing new vendors
Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
Coordinate with delivery teams and manage delays or rescheduled orders
Handle cost control, expenditure, and maximize profits through high-quality, cost-effective purchases
Conduct quarterly product and pricing reviews
Inventory Management:
Manage inventories and maintain up-to-date purchase and pricing records
Develop and maintain an effective inventory management system, controlling costs and minimizing wastage.
Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of goods in line with company procedures.
Submit regular inventory and consumption reports, maintaining accurate data within the inventory/purchasing system.
Identify and address any discrepancies or inaccuracies in stock levels.
Maintain and control stock profiles and locations to support production.
Monthly Reporting:
Prepare and submit monthly reports, including:
Supplier Ageing Analysis
Food Cost Analysis
Inventory Reports (Weekly, Mid-month, End of month)
Breakage, Purchasing, and Wastage Reports
Consumption Reports
Qualifications · Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the F&B industry. · Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience. · Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. · Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
