Plumber’s Assistant Job Description:
As a Plumber’s Assistant, you will work alongside skilled plumbers, providing essential support and assistance. Your role involves various tasks related to plumbing systems, installations, maintenance, and repairs. Responsibilities:

General Assistance:
Assist plumbers with their daily duties.
Help prepare plumbing materials and tools.
Perform basic plumbing tasks, such as soldering and cutting pipes.
Site Support:
Fetch and carry tools and supplies.
Hold pipes and fittings in place during plumbing work.
Maintain general site tidiness.
Plumbing Tasks:
Installations: Assist with installing pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components.
Inspections: Participate in inspections to identify problems, leaks, or faults.
Testing: Assist in testing plumbing systems for functionality.
Repairs: Aid in repairing pipes and fixtures.
Logistics and Safety:
Assist with storage, lifting, and fetching supplies.
Unload and check deliveries.
Identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs.
Ensure compliance with codes, laws, and health and safety guidelines.
Collaboration:
Liaise with the Line Manager and other site workers.
Perform tasks as required within agreed time limits.
Use your initiative and contribute to team goals.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records associated with your work.
Report problems or failures promptly to the Line Manager.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Willingness to learn and follow directions.
Attention to detail and safety-conscious.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
