Position Overview:The Head of English Department will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic experience of our students by providing visionary leadership and guidance to the English faculty. This role involves curriculum development, faculty management, and fostering an environment that promotes innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the English department's curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to faculty members within the English department.
• Collaborate with other department heads and school administration to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Lead efforts to assess and improve the department's educational outcomes.
• Stay current with developments in the field of English education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
• Manage departmental resources, including budget allocation and scheduling.
• Engage with students and parents to address concerns and provide guidance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive departmental culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachler's degree or higher in English or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, preferably as a department head or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A deep passion for English education and a commitment to academic excellence.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and administrators.
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methods and educational technology.
