Medical Physicist (f/m/x)

EBG Med Austron Gmb H in Wiener Neustadt operates one of the most modern centers for particle therapy and research in Europe. Cancer patients are treated with an innovative form of radiation therapy with protons and carbon ions. In addition to cancer treatment the facility is also used for translational research.

Our Medical Physics team is responsible for acceptance and medical commissioning of all medical devices related to ion beam therapy. We use state-of-the-art robotic systems and novel imaging procedures here.

Become part of the Medical Physics team as a
Medical Physicist (f/m/x)
Full-time (40 hours)
Challenges you conquer:
  • In medical operation participating actively in the clinical duties like Medical physicist on duty, quality assurance, patient Specific QA and dosimetry
  • Improving the efficiency of the established QA program for the patient position system (PPS) and patient position verification system (PPVS)
  • Development of SW tools for the analysis of QA and clinical data
  • Consequently documenting procedures and enhancements
  • Close contact with the provider of the patient position verification system (PPVS) regarding SW bug reports and release management
  • Participating in medical commissioning activities with a focus on the PPS and PPVS covering projects
A background that impresses:
  • Academic studies (Master degree or Ph D) in Medical Physics, Physics or similar
  • Ideally 1 or more years of clinical experience in Medical Physics
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Very good English skills and at least basic German knowledge
  • Hands-on mentality, flexibility and team spirit
  • Good presentation and communication skills in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment

For the advertised position we offer a gross annual salary from € 64.107,54 (on a full-time basis) with the possibility of overpayment, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
