For the area of Global Purchasing, located in Lenzing, we invite Indirect Purchasing experts to submit applications for the role of
Reporting to the VP Global Purchasing, the Head of Indirect Purchasing will lead and develop the Indirect Purchasing teams & their activities, ensuring sufficient and sustainable supply of products & services needed, promoting a Total-Cost-of-Ownership mindset, and contributing to the achievement of overall financial and ESG objectives.
You will be responsible for the leadership & coordination of the Global Indirect Purchasing Teams
You will lead the Global Category Managers, encouraging transparency and developing global sourcing strategies and framework agreements with a focus on technical, business, legal and ESG requirements
You will build strong networks with internal customers based on mutual trust and respect; and effectively integrate with other functions to improve teamwork and result delivery
You will drive directives, projects & initiatives aimed at optimizing compliance, efficiency and sustainability
You will collaborate and co-ordinate with global management and on-site management, driving process development and efficiency improvements from a business perspective
Your ideal profile
You hold a qualification on University level in a technical field, business administration or legal
You have extensive experience in international procurement initiatives and Purchase-to-Pay process, with SAP and SRM knowledge, outstanding analytical and negotiating skills, and a solid understanding of international law and contracting
You contribute through your mature and assertive personality, and bring strong change management & execution skills
You apply excellent communications and negotiation skills (incl. business English C2 and German B2), practice strong intercultural sensitivity, along with a sharp eye for diversity and inclusion.
You are a proactive, results-oriented team player: responsible, resilient, and autonomous, with a can-do attitude and a exemplary compliance mindset

The annual gross salary for this position, according to the collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week, is starting from € 113.050,- with a willingness to overpay, depending on purchasing scope and qualifications as well as your leadership experience. Additionally you will take part in the Lenzing bonus system. We offer flexible working time and remote working options.
