Your future role
We are currently looking for a permanent Warehouse Supervisor, critical to the ongoing success of the Supply Chain team based in Randwick. Working Monday to Friday, (no weekend work), you will be assisting to maintain the fleet and all relevant activities across the Randwick maintenance facility.
A bit about your new role
- overseeing and managing the warehouse operations, staff and activities across multiple sites
- applying rules in order to operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies
- ensuring effective and efficient management of Inventory and assets (Rotables) while maintaining focus on optimising stock holdings
- driving best practice “inventory planning and management” principles to achieve cost objectives as well as excellence in service levels
- building strong collaborative relationships with key functional areas of the business
- developing a good working culture that embraces safety, continuous improvement, procedure compliance and teamwork
All about you:
- proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the rail, transportation or manufacturing industries
- proven experience using an ERP eg. Maximo, SAP
- previous experience managing hazardous materials storage is preferred
- forklift license
