POSITION SUMMARY

Location
This iconic resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas.
Department
Reporting directly to our Purchasing Supervisor, we are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Storeperson.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Responsibility for overseeing receipt, issues and storage of inventory into the resort
- Ensuring that processes for inventory management are in line with OHS, HACCP requirements and company policies and minimise risk/damage and stock loss
- Completing required reporting and documentation as per department requirements
- Maintain established maximum/minimum stock levels of all items under stores responsibility
- Ensuring maintenance issues are reported to Purchasing Supervisor and / or Engineering
- Issue inventory items from approved requisitions in accordance with issue timetable on a First In, First Out (F.I.F.O.) basis

Keep all storeroom areas at the highest level of sanitation and cleanliness in line with Marriott HACCP procedures

- Good physical ability to meet requirements of the position
- Previous experience in a Purchasing / Storeperson role (Mandatory)
