Responsible for storing and maintaining stock at an optimum level for availability in order to service the operational requirement for one of the largest privately owned transport and logistics company.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Ordering of parts and consumables items as required
Maintain safe and correct storage of all parts and items under Parts Warehouse control
Load and unload incoming and outgoing goods and reconciling against supplier paperwork
Liaise with freight carriers to develop and maintain high service levels
Inventory control and liaise with suppliers and accounts for invoices Maintain safe and correct storage of all parts and items under Parts Warehouse control
Safe forklift operations

Skills and experience

Previous experience in a similar role
High level of computer skills, including Microsoft office and Microsoft Dynamics AX
High attention to detail
Good organisational and planning skills
Ability to interpret parts and orders
Current fork lift licence
Excellent customer service skills and communications skills
