ROLE PURPOSE Based in store & reporting to the Store Manager, this role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high standards of Store Presentation within their store. Store Presentation assistants play a crucial role in ensuring store standards are consistently at a high standard, are visually appealing, inviting & on-brand. With a high level of attention to detail, Showroom Assistants help Freedom showcase products in the best possible light, enhancing the experience for customers and driving sales.
SUCCESS CRITERIA Drives sales by delivering a world class store environment experience within their store. Customers are inspired to shop at Freedom – an authentic connection is made to the brand. Achieves a high level of store presentation – consistently. Provides constructive and valuable feedback to the Cluster VM Team – identifying VM opportunities, acting on them and increasing sales. Great working relationships with Store Manager & instore Retail/ VM Team. All products are ticketed / labeled correctly and to standard.
KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Works in partnership with Store Manager & Cluster VM Team supporting the Visual Environment within their store
Maintains all Visual Merchandising displays as set by the Cluster VM Team
Responsible for maintaining all ticketing standards across the store – including promotional ticketing execution
Maintains all Homewares planaograms as set by the cluster VM Team
Maintains Styling standards as set by the cluster VM Team
Assists with Seasonal / Ad Hoc. Furniture floor moves when required
Responsible for all homewares stock replenishment across the store (including unpacking deliveries)
In partnership with the retail team – executes all promotional campaign visual directives
Assists Cluster VMs to Ensure delivery of all VM Calendar initiatives and executes to a high standard in a timely and efficient manner
In partnership with the retail team & Cluster VM Team Maintains overall store presentation at all times
Follows instore VM guidelines & Style guides at all times
Assists with Project refits/builds within their region when required
Provides store audit information when required
Assist Cluster VM Team on projects when required
Ensures that the commercial & visual needs of the business are balanced when maintaining merchandising displays
Actively participate in new store set-ups and refurbishments (where required) and collaborate with key stakeholders
Assist with online orders when required
Maintains & collaborates with Store Manger in regards to Display Bin Management
Maintains & collaborates with Store Manager in regards to Clearance / Discontinued stock management
Responsible for actioning the VM Weekly Checklist
Responsible for resetting and preparing the store for weekend trade
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Visual Merchandising qualifications and/or a minimum of 5 years experience in Visual Merchandising (with Home Interiors experience as an advantage).
Project Management experience
Retail / Team Leadership experience
Understanding and knowledge of bulky goods retailing
Ability to analyse sales reports to determine performance and actions
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Computer skills in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint, Word and Excel
