About the Role:
As a Servery Staff at Anglicare Sydney, our kitchen and servery team plays a vital role in providing nourishing meals that contribute to the health and well-being of our residents.
About You:
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or aged care (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence.
- Alignment with Anglicare’s Christian ethos and values.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (or willingness to learn)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, presentation, and serving of meals to residents.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining areas, and food service spaces.
- Assist in meal setup, including setting tables and ensuring all utensils and crockery are clean.
- Deliver food and beverages to residents in the dining room and, when necessary, to their rooms.
- Ensure dietary requirements and preferences are met for each resident.
- Collaborate with the broader team to provide holistic support to residents.
- Collect, clean, and store dishes and utensils after meals
- Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere within the care facility.
- Follow health, safety, and food hygiene standards always
- To be successful in this role you must have: NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
