We have an opportunity for a person with strong leadership skills and a passion for mining to join our team at the Mt Magometon Quarry. You will oversee the onsite operations of the quarry and loam pits. You will provide support of Council’s gravel production, mining, commercial operations and stockpiling to ensure optimum production, supply and revenue.
Ideally the successful applicant will be performance driven and have demonstrated experience directing quarry or mining operations, with appropriate qualifications Extractive Industries, Civil Construction or equivalent (Certificate IV level). This position requires a dedicated focus on compliance with EPA, Resources Regulator, WHS legislation and regulations.
