MULTIPLE CASUAL POSITIONS | BEAUTIFUL LOCATION IN SOUTHERN TASMANIA
Join the amazing and hard-working team at our processing factory, located in Dover, Tasmania (1 hour and 30 minutes' drive south of Hobart). As our factory operates 7 days a week, the ability to work occasional weekends is required. We currently have multiple positions available:
Morning Shift (Processing): As a casual Processing Attendant, you’ll assist with the processing and production of our delicious salmon. Working in a wet and cold environment, you will operate machinery and assist with the filleting and packing of our whole salmon inside the factory. Shifts typically run from 5am-1pm.
Afternoon Shift (Cleaning): Once production is finished for the day, you will work within a small team to clean and sanitise the factory equipment ready for the next day. Previous industrial cleaning experience would be a bonus! Shifts typically run from 2pm-10pm, dependent on production finish time. Additional 15% afternoon shift loading applies.
Night Shift (Offload/Forklift): Operating a forklift, you will assist in the offloading of salmon from our harvest vessel into our processing factory. Possession of a current forklift licence is highly desirable for this role. Shifts typically run from 6pm-2am. Additional 30% night shift loading applies.
About you
- Excellent communication skills and able to work in a team environment
- Must have full availability to work roughly 35 hours per week
- Driver licence and reliable transport to get to work(essential)
- A ‘can-do’ safely attitude!
