Let’s talk about you
We have an exciting opportunity for a Leader to join the Becks Frame and Truss site in Kings Meadows Launceston as an Manager, Timber Estimating and Design. You will be responsible to ensure sales are maximised, losses and expenses are minimised, and customer expectations are exceeded.
You will be managing all aspects of the Frame & Truss Estimating Design business with requirement to develop and grow not only the business but also the team.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of all administration and documentation
Assist the Site Manager with managing budgets whilst identifying opportunities to reduce costs
Ensure assets and equipment are maintained in optimum order
Proactively source work for the Frame and Truss operation from builders, developers, architects as well as following up on quotes
Provide guidance to the estimating, detailing and production team

You’re Likely a Match If you have

Experience as a Draftsperson, Estimator/Builder or even Carpenter would be a good match
Experience in developing or implementing new processes and systems
Good business and financial acumen
Pryda or Mitek design software (or similar)
Flexibility to work in line with trading hours, including some weekends and public holidays
Experience in team management
