Your role at St John of God Richmond Hospital
You will be responsible for leading a small team to act as the first point of contact for consumers, carers and referrers seeking access to care.
The Manager, Consumer Pathways plays a vital role in managing and assuring optimum bed utilisation and assisting in the discharge planning process across the service to ensure the consumer pathway is enhanced to meet their needs.
The Position

Management of the services admission systems and processes to ensure they are consumer orientated and facilitate access to care that is timely, responsive and meets the needs of consumers, carers and referrers.

Work closely with our Consumer Pathways team across both our campuses to ensure systems and process are aligned and consumers are provided with the greatest possible choice in relation to when, where and how care is access across the St John of God Health Care’s NSW Mental Health services.

Implement a strategic view of occupancy levels to enhance revenue opportunities, whilst ensuring patient experience is maintained

Develop and implement high standards of practice and consumer centered care, effective stewardship of resources, commitment to developing caregiver teams, and building and maintaining strong relationships with your stakeholders.
You will have significant experience managing teams, their activity and efficiency, and an ability to lead strategic service planning. We are looking for a leader with high-level communication and interpersonal skills that can manage potentially high risk cases.
Successful applicants will hold a Nursing qualification and AHPRA registration, with 3+ years clinical experience working in mental health.

Salary: $128,301 to $137,963 plus 11.5% Superannuation

Permanent full-time, working 38 hours per week
