This is a 12 month career opportunity and the Manager, Community Investment will be accountable for managing the planning and execution of work delivered through the Comm Bank Next Chapter program, our bank-wide commitment to help end financial abuse.
The role requires a focus on delivering measurable social impact, stakeholder engagement and driving awareness internally and externally of our work in community.
Specifically, the role involves subject matter expertise across:
- Managing an agreed portfolio of community investments to deliver measurable social impact. The portfolio is focused on investments delivered under the Comm Bank Next Chapter program.
- Lead and input into externally published resources, reports and submissions aligned to the Comm Bank Next Chapter program
- Ongoing management of specialist suppliers and external partners to deliver programs
- Developing and executing stakeholder engagement plans to ensure the Group’s investment in portfolio areas is understood amongst key audiences and segments, including First Nations, vulnerable and diverse communities.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to advocate and ensure that appropriate leverage opportunities are realised and business opportunities pursued
- Integrate and contribute to the development of robust Measurement, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) frameworks that align to the portfolios theory of change, and manage timely reporting on program performance
- Collaborate across Marketing and Corporate Affairs teams to ensure community investment initiatives are appropriately integrated in business communication and marketing initiatives
- Provide advice on portfolio area issues that affect communities and relevant Group response options
- Support the development of all required documentation, processes and policies as required by Chapter Lead, Community Investment
- Undertaking any other ad hoc duties required to support the delivery of the Community Investment Strategy.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
- This is a program delivery role with expected experience in delivering a range of different project types (e.g. events, content development, communications support and contribution/coordination of measurement and reporting as required)
- Experience in working with, or in partnership with organisations support the recovery from domestic violence, gendered violence or First Nations
- Demonstrable experience in managing complex projects with a strong research and evidence based.
- Outstanding communication skills particularly writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive results.
- Very sound commercial skills including: negotiation and influencing, managing budgets, marketing / communications, managing risk and project accountability.
- High-level conceptual and analytical skills, evident business acumen and exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Appreciation and understanding of current issues in Australian not-for-profit industry
