About the role
This is a full time role as a Hospital Assistant for St John's Hospital. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager and under the direction of nursing staff, the Hospital Assistant provides patient transport, support and assistance to clinical staff within the hospital and units, in meeting the needs of internal and external customers.
Your main duties will include:
Safely transport patients to and from Operating Theatre and other areas of the Hospital
Provide support to nursing staff
About you
Time management and organisational skills
Ability to build relationships with all stakeholders
Has undertaken or willing to undertake Certificate in Basic Life Support
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment
Has undertaken or is willing to undertake Manual Handling training
