About the role
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Environmental Service Worker to join our team at Little Mountain Aged Care Service on a Casual basis.
You will be responsible for laundry and cleaning duties within our facility. ensuring a safe, clean and comfortable environment for our residents. And you will contribute as an integral member of the Seniors Living group and support activities aligned with the strategic direction of and consistent with the mission and values of Churches of Christ.
In this role you will:

Responsible for laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and labelling.
Distribution of linen and resident clothing; maintain the cleanliness of the laundry and equipment.
Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities' residential areas.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a positive individual who works well with others, demonstrating kindness, respect and compassion in every interaction. You will have the ability to work autonomously, flexibility to work across cleaning and laundry areas as required.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver quality service and work effectively as part of a team, with previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
As the Environmental Service Worker, ideally your experience and qualifications include:

Certificate II in Cleaning Operations or similar is desirable but not essential;
Previous relevant work experience, preferably within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Experience in the Aged Care industry will be highly regarded;
Experience in operating equipment associated with cleaning and laundry;
Availability to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day week;
Possess a current National Police Check – or the ability to acquire.
