About the role
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading project teams as part of our Energy Transition portfolio, with a focus on delivering Solar/BESS solutions in both buildings and utility-scale projects. • Familiar with project siting constraints, such as environmental, social, and governance considerations for developments.
  • Familiar with grid connection constraints, such as system strength, inertia, and power systems engineering studies to demonstrate steady-state / dynamic / transient stability for advanced inverter systems.
  • High-voltage distribution and substation design experience are desirable.
To be successful for this role you'll need the following:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Commerce; or similar

  • Use written professional communication to deliver our project requirements such as email, reports, technical drawings, memos and specifications.
  • Apply technical skills and commitment in a way which ensures projects are thoroughly considered, personally reviewed, and delivered on time.
  • Be accurate, diligent and professional.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence, respect, open-mindedness, positivity, and adaptability.
  • Participate in and present at meetings with clients and other consultants.
  • Assist and contribute to the optimisation of processes and templates within our Energy Team.
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of both commercial and technical aspects of potential projects
  • Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to apply technical expertise in a way which balances commercial profitability, QA adherence, risk management and the morale of others.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to use initiative and think outside the box.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
We have a preference for someone holding (or working towards) chartered status eligible for recognition on the National Engineering Registration.
