About the Role We are seeking an experienced EL1 Assistant Director Entry Level Recruitment to lead a small team managing Treasury’s entry level programs (graduates, school leavers and interns) and other department wide recruitment activities. Key Duties:
Oversee and project manage all recruitment activities for entry level programs and department wide recruitment activities.
Manage complex recruitment enquiries, provide advice to stakeholders, and ensure that the recruitment approach aligns with policies and legislative frameworks.
Develop and manage stakeholder relationships including representing the recruitment function at various internal and external forums.
Lead, mentor and coach a small team, build capability and support team member wellbeing in a high tempo environment.
Determine advertising and sourcing strategies, implement effective candidate care strategies, and ensure recruitment outcomes are correct and effective.
Work with the Director Recruitment to continually review and improve entry level program and department wide recruitment processes and procedures.
Prepare reports, briefs and updates for the Treasury Executives and governance committees.
Desirable Qualifications / Experience To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate the following experience, skills and attributes:
Experience delivering high quality, timely and large volume recruitment activities including entry level programs.
Ability to interpret and adhere to relevant employment frameworks, policies and guidelines.
Experience leading and managing a team to deliver high quality and timely outcomes.
Highly developed interpersonal and written communications skills.
Well-developed understanding of, or ability to quickly acquire an understanding of the Aurion online recruitment system.
Ability to exercise sound judgement, intelligence, integrity, and common sense to achieve objectives.
Qualification or certification in Human Resources Management is desirable.
Availability to travel to attend various forums and career fairs.
