The Sporting Globe Bar and Grill is a popular sports bar and grill chain that offers function, casual dining, and a large bar space with TAB based in Australia. With locations across the country, it has become a destination for sports enthusiasts, offering a unique dining experience and live sports entertainment while we maintain being Australia's most loved sports bar & grill.
A hard-working and vibrant Duty Manager to join our front-of-house team at our Belmont venue! We are seeking individuals who have a passion for producing great quality service and who will be able to provide exceptional guest experiences by ensuring solid front of house operations. You will deliver food and service to The Sporting Globe standards, adhere to Australian legal requirements, and make a valued contribution to overall business performance.
The Ultimate MVP Responsibilities

Assisting in efficiently and effectively controlling all operations across the venue, including running the restaurant and bar.
Supporting the Venue and Assistant Venue Manager by opening and closing the venue.
Overall management of the FOH operational facets of the business.
Adherence to and auditing of OH&S and Food Hygiene procedures.
Identifying opportunities to build sales and revenue whilst controlling costs.
Ensuring superior service and quality to ensure delivery of outstanding guest experiences.
Drive a positive working environment and lead by example as a senior restaurant leader
Maintaining current market knowledge and harnessing your ability to engage and execute promotional/marketing concepts to assist in business growth.
Critical to this role is the ability to take a strategic approach in driving revenue,
Management, food and beverage, customer service and achieving financial target

The MVP We're Seeking

A minimum of 2yrs Hospitality Management
Experience working in both Bar and Restaurant environments
Desire to train and develop the team around you
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Passion for the industry and a strong sales culture
Experience in the financial aspects of a business
RSA certificate and Approved Managers required.
