"Our Mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve.” About the Role: As a Domestic Assistant / Companion Carer, you'll play an important role in enhancing the lives of our clients by helping with light housekeeping, providing companionship, and supporting their overall wellbeing. Your work will contribute to maintaining their independence and comfort at home. Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities.
Help with grocery shopping and other essential errands.
Support clients in maintaining their independence and overall wellbeing.
Ensure the home is clean, safe, and comfortable for the client.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required, but one year of practical experience as a Cleaner, Domestic Assistant, or Companion Carer within a community setting is essential.
Current Senior First Aid [HLTAID011], CPR [HLTAID009] and Manual Handling [HLTWHS005] (with 3+ months until expiry).
A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver’s licence.
Federal Police Clearance (within the last 6 months).
Willingness to travel and flexibility with shifts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for elderly clients.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care.
Commitment to safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.
Preferred Skills
Understanding of person-centred care.
Multilingual abilities are a bonus!
