We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Distribution Manager to join our team at the Smithton Plant. In this role, you will be responsible for the short-term forward planning and daily management of inventory movements. Focusing primarily on coldstore logistics, you will oversee and direct operational activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.

About the Role

Key responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage pallet logistics
Accurately record and track inventory using Warehouse Management System (WMS) & SAP
Oversee product movements and shipment processes to meet customer demand and delivery schedules
Lead continuous improvement activities
Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities in daily operations

About You

We’re looking for a leader with the following qualities:

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, with a focus on safety and quality standards such as HACCP and GMP
Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Skilled in managing multiple, diverse projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on results, logical thinking, and problem-solving
A proactive mindset toward continuous learning, with a commitment to participating in company training and development programs
Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a team to achieve operational goals
