We Kare Disability Services is seeking to employ bright, enthusiastic, qualified support workers for clients in Launceston TAS. We have a particular need currently for support staff in the Longford area, who would be interested in supporting a 16-year-old male for a few hours each day, 5 days a week with personal care, community access, linen change and breakfast assistance. We require candidates for a variety of roles with varied competencies ongoing. We Kare is an organisation committed to delivering reliable and high-quality services and supports to NDIS participants. A high level of competency, initiative, reliability and autonomy is required for this position. The position is casual and ongoing with some flexibility in hours. Mandatory Qualifications are required for this role 1. Cert III, IV in Disability or Aged Care Services 2. National/International Police Check 3. Working With Children Check 4. NDIS Screening Check 5. First Aid Certificate (incl. resuscitation) 6. Valid Driver's License and Access to an insured vehicle. 7. Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination status. 8. NDIS Orientation training module certificate (free online @ ndis.gov.au). 9. Covid - 19 Infection Control certificate (free online @ ndis.gov.au). The position requires the responsible delivery of a variety of support services such as; community participation and access, monitoring behaviour and the administration of medication under some circumstances.
