About the position We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic dietitian to join the Sakura team. This is a unique role for a therapist to provide services to clients, work in a growing team and be provided with performance incentives as the position grows. Whether you are looking to add some private practice hours to your working week or build your client load to a full working week, this position is for you. We have clients that are eagerly awaiting appointments and you will start your Sakura journey knowing you have a steady client base ready to go. We support work/life balance and this role incorporates flexibility that could include Telehealth appointments for part of the week if preferred, and attractive employment or contractor arrangements. This position offers a great opportunity to work with professionals from other allied health disciplines, working in a multi-disciplinary environment where we will have regular meetings so you know you are not alone. It is important that you have a passion to work with children and young people, as a focus of our health centre will be in the paediatric area servicing the needs of clients with Medicare referrals, NDIS funding, private health funds, school referrals and paediatrician referrals from our already established relationships with specialists and other stakeholders. About You
Possess a tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics as recognised by Dietitians Australia
Eligible for Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status according to the criteria set by Dietitian's Australia
Have (or be eligible for) a Medicare provider number
Have an ABN (if contracting)
Current Working with Children check (Blue Card)
Current NDIS Workers screening check (Yellow Card)
Professional Indemnity Insurance
An approachable and professional manner
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Self-motivated and willing to seek new opportunities to further build on our existing networks
Experience working with children
Current drivers licence and own reliable transport
