About the role
The Mater Department of Dietetics and Foodservices currently has a permanent part-time opportunity (43 hours/fortnight) for a highly motivated and team orientated Dietitian to join our department.
Dietitians at Mater Health provide comprehensive, high quality, evidence-based Nutrition and Dietetics services. This position will be based at the Redlands campus.
Mater Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement 2023-2025 Salary range: $38.25 - $57.80 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing an individual clinical caseload based at Mater Private Redlands. Please note, while this is a part-time role it requires daily (M-F) service at Mater Private Redlands. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to participate in research and quality projects, professional mentoring and peer group supervision with the Mater South Brisbane Dietetic Team.
About you
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nutrition and Dietetics service in a hospital setting and the ability to manage caseloads across a broad range of clinical areas
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement, evidence based practice and professional development
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written) and time management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively within the Nutrition and Dietetics Department and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The successful applicant must also have:
- Minimum of one year full time equivalent clinical experience
- Accredited Practising Dietitian status
