Demand/Production Planner

Mitolo Family Farms’ Production Operations are recruiting for a Demand/Production Planner to join their Team. This role comes with a high degree of responsibility and accountability. You will lead, manage and improve the processes involved in production planning, scheduling efficient and effective packing plans.

Responsibilities

Continuously review production requirements and schedule production to ensure customer service levels are met
Implement continuous improvement strategies to improve the efficiencies of production processes
Liaise with production management teams on customer orders
Liaise with key departments on system and process enhancements relevant to production such as ERP
Assist in major customer SKU sales analysis

The successful candidate will possess the energy, flexibility and initiative required to achieve success. With strong practical ability and well-developed people skills you will work with others to get the job done and build team capability and morale.

Highly energetic and consultive style of leadership
Intellectual capacity to analyse data and then utilise for equipment / process solutions planning
Customer service business focus and able to adapt plans and schedules quickly to meet the changing needs of the market / our customers
Minimum of 3 years in a similar position with an ability to perform in a fast-paced production environment
Proven planning and scheduling skills
Logical and calm communication style that enables the production team to understand and respond to the agreed plans and targets in a fast-moving environment
Strong focus on continuous improvement
Daily multitasking skills
