Ventia is offering long-term employment with the NSW Whole of Government Cleaning Contract for people who are looking to enter the Cleaning Industry.

We are looking for people who can work in the following sites:
- Catherine Mc Auley College Medowie 4am – 9.32am part time
- Irrawang Primary School 4.30am – 9am part time
- Grahamstown Primary School 5am - 9am and 2pm and 6pm full time
- Hunter River High School 4.30am – 9am and 2pm – 6pm full time
- Irrawang High School 2pm – 6pm part time
- Casual positions in the Nelson Bay + Anna Bay areas
About the role:
Provide high quality cleaning services to Public Schools, TAFE Colleges, and Government Buildings in your local area. Applicants will need reliable transport to and from work. You must be able to clear a national police background check along with a pre-employment medical and Working with Children Check.
Key Duties:
- Cleaning of all touch points (taps, bubblers, handrails, door handles, bathrooms etc)
- Mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms
- Tidying external grounds, rubbish collection and leaf blowing
- Maintenance of stock supplies and orders
Skills & Experience:
- No experience necessary
- Good communication and time management skills
- An eye for detail and proactive approach
- The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
To promote work-life balance, we offer the following shifts:
- Permanent 8-hour positions available for split shifts (Full-time basis, 5am - 9am and 2pm - 6pm)
- Early morning shift: 5am - 9am
- Afternoon shift: 2pm - 6pm
- Casual shifts available in select suburbs
