CAD/CAM Design Dental Technician
ABOUT US
Digital Dental Laboratories is a Queensland/Northern NSW based dental laboratory servicing a range of dental clinics throughout SEQ and Northern NSW. We create quality restorations for dental prosthetics, specialising in implant, ceramic and crown and bridge procedures. All appliances are designed and fabricated in house. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality products in a timely manner using the most advanced technology available, through our state of the art facilities. This position is based in Tweed heads.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced CAD/CAM Dental Technician to join our team. Working in conjunction with a wider team of dental professionals you will be primarily responsible for:
- CAD/CAM design of implants, crowns and bridges, Smile Design.
- Metal base designing.
- Operating milling machines and 3D printers.
- Working with 3shape scanners.
- Product research and development and logistics.
- Model making for margin preparations.
- Grinding metal and zirconia frameworks.
- Modelling Crown & Bridge cases with Wax.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- At least Diploma of Dental Technology or relevant recognised equivalent qualification.
- Must have CAD experience in Crown and Bridge and Implant work -minimum of 5 years design experience.
- CAD Smile Design experience (3Shape, Nobel, Straumann or similar).
- Design of Metal bases experience.
- Experience operating Milling machines and 3D printers.
- Self- motivated, professional and positive attitude.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team to achieve team objectives.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good communication skills for Client relations
