Your Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic Business Services Assistant to join our supportive Canberra Business Services team. This role is a full-time, permanent position with career growth opportunities available within our firm.

The ideal candidate will be available to work 5 days a week in the office from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with the flexibility to occasionally commence work at 8:00 am. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and the capability to work in a collaborative team environment.

As a key addition to this team, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing all tasks related to incoming and outgoing mail, and couriers.
  • Processing all photocopying, printing, scanning, binding, filing, burning of CDs, laminating, and any other requests.
  • Prioritising your workload to ensure all jobs are completed within the required timeframes.
  • Accurately processing disbursements and invoices.
  • Ensuring contractors are correctly signed in and temporary access cards are returned.
  • Assisting with ordering stationery supplies as required.
  • Maintaining equipment and arranging service if/when required.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required.
