The Meat & Wine Co Canberra are looking for experienced and dedicated Bartenders to become part of their professional and hard-working team. Our Canberra restaurant forms part of a vibrant, passionate and dynamic national team. Established in 2000, The Meat & Wine Co prides itself in providing an exceptional and unique steakhouse dining experience. The successful applicants will have:
Enthusiasm and passion to provide exceptional customer service
High level of wine knowledge, working with a large wine list
Able to offer expert advice on all menu items, including food, wine and other beverages
Solid understanding of serving customers in an A La Carte environment, following sequence of service standards
Ability to learn and follow recipes and standards for cocktail list, with and understanding of the classics too
A minimum of 1+ years of restaurant/bar experience
Impeccable presentation, grooming and communication standards
Willingness to undergo further training
Flexible availability over a 7-day rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
