The position
As a Value Communication Liaison at Novo Nordisk, you will:
- Develop and oversee intelligence gathering related to the market access environment within the affiliate, focusing on Novo Nordisk and competitors access, changes in the healthcare system, and overall trends in the field.
- Drive and execute the Argentine Market Access and Public Affairs plan, based on local needs and strategy aligned with Affiliate ambition
- Help implement and execute strategic Market Access frameworks such as payer engagement, negotiation, and objection handling in close collaboration with the Value Communication & Health Economics Manager.
- Collaborate closely with the Value Communication & Health Economics Manager and critical functional areas in the affiliate (Medical Affairs, Business Units, Commercial Excellence) to drive aligned actions and tactics for local Market Access.
- Participate in virtual or in-person meetings with payers, auditors, healthcare providers, and other decision-makers, presenting scientific evidence and/or pharmacoeconomic data of Novo Nordisk products in close collaboration with Key Account Managers.
Qualifications
We realise that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:
- University Degree (preferably within a medical discipline); Master’s Degree (preferably from an health-economics discipline or Health Technology Assessment).
- At least 3 years of experience in the Health System (Medicina Prepaga/Obras Sociales) or Pharma Industry is desirable.
- Knowledge gained by healthcare organisation, commercial business, or medical position with managerial level experience.
- Experience in building relationships/networks with healthcare decision-makers (governments, payers, insurers, policymakers, health technology assessment/health economics researchers, key opinion leaders, etc).
- Fluent in English & Spanish.
About the department
You will be responsible for supporting the local strategy of Market Access, Value Communication, and Health Economics in line with local business priorities. Establish and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with auditors, payers, and policymakers. Serve as a scientific evidence provider expert to internal colleagues and external stakeholders. Enhance the Market Access activities' impact on the field. Support Key Account Managers on the field to address customer needs to get patient access for our portfolio. The position is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
