Role Overview:
As a Technical Support Engineer at Cybele, you will be a critical player in ensuring our - mainly US based - clients receive exceptional support. You'll handle complex technical challenges and guide clients through troubleshooting processes. Beyond solving issues, you'll play a key role in shaping the evolution of our products, since many innovations in our software system are based on the support team’s handled feedback and experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth analyses of client infrastructure to identify compatibility issues and potential challenges.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, including network connectivity, server errors, and performance bottlenecks.
- Engage directly with clients, understand their needs, and provide personalized solutions that address the root cause of their issues.
- Provide proactive support and guide clients through technical solutions, ensuring successful case closure with detailed follow-up.
- Assist with advanced configurations, such as setting up complex networking environments and virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS).
- Monitor and address integration challenges with third-party applications, ensuring compatibility and smooth operation within client environments.
- Collaborate with the product and development teams, providing insights from customer issues to drive improvements.
- Generate and maintain support documentation, including step-by-step guides and troubleshooting procedures.
- Test and evaluate new technologies for potential integration with our products, contributing to team optimization.
- Utilize Zoho, Jira, and other task management tools to track support tickets and ensure efficient case resolution.
About You:
You are someone who excels at problem-solving and thrives in fast-paced environments, is motivated by helping others and enjoys diving into technical issues to find the right solutions. You have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a knack for simplifying complex information.Required Skills:
-English proficiency - written and spoken (must have).
- 3+ years of experience in technical support or similar roles.
- Experience in Windows operating systems and Windows Server management.
- Experience with remote access protocols and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, DNS, Active Directory).
- Knowledge of CRM/JIRA or similar tools for task management.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, IONOS) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and REST APIs (a plus).
